srt2ez.pl is a perl script to convert srt files to the format used by EasyCaptions
srt2ez.pl minimally requires an input srt file entered like this -
perl srt2ez.pl infile.srt
Optionally, srt2ez.pl accepts an output file name:
perl srt2ez.pl infile.srt outfile.txt
srt2ez.pl will create an output file name if one is not entered.
srt2ez.pl has been tested with windows and linux output srt files,
on linux and windows.
srt2ez.pl has not yet been tested with output from a native mac subtitle editor, nor any that are java based. A prototype of this script has been tested on a mac.
